This contest will reward those who best beat the asian handicap.
If you are not familiar with asian handicaps, it allows for 50%-50% situation in a football match so nobody can get an advantage by just taking the teams who are more likely to win.

To Enter This Contest

  • You need to own at least 30 Steem Power and a 0.01$ upvote!
    (Read here why I was forced to add this rule)
  • Closely Linked accounts can get entry rejected.
    (1 contestant per household)
  • Contest Leechers will get Entry Rejected.
    (if you are only on steemit to play contests and cash out)
  • Upvote this post to enter the contest
  • This contest is open for all who qualify up to 12 hours before the post is paid out. I was a bit early on this one as I overlooked the later date these matches are being played. Will be normal again next contest.

Contest Rules

  • Each contestant must choose 5 different bets.
    There are 40 options to choose from as each match has Home | Away | Over | Under
  • Multiple bets on the same match are not allowed.
  • Ranking will be made by profit based on listed odds.
  • I will upvote your entry so you know your bets are recorded.
  • Payout Structure

    If no jackpot winner...
    1.5 STEEM (6.75$ now) will be split based on made profit from bets.
    (The more profit you make the bigger your share of the GTD prize)

    I made a mistake by adding the contest a week too early and made a post about it this week as a notice that the contest was going to get closed for entry a bit early. 50% of the SBD from that post will be added to the jackpot next week.

    I noticed bud, I don't ask you to bend the rules for me mainly because I really want you contest to succeed.
    All things considered I think my prediction should stand as it abides by your contest rules: my vote on the post was given before the 7-day deadline on the post and the comment before the matches started :).

    I am still having fun with this and would be glad if you considered my prediction for it.

    I missed the unusual deadline to enter the contest myself and did not enter despite having upvoted early. So this seems like a good solution. sorry for the contest timing confusion. Next one should be online late wednesday

      PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU TRY TO ENTER THIS CONTEST !

      Some minor changes for regular players

      • "Suspicious Double account will get Entry Rejected." was changed to "Closely Linked accounts can get entry rejected.
        (1 contestant per household)".
      • Guaranteed prize pool has gone up a bit from the original 5$ weekly to 1.5 STEEM when it's between 5$ and 10$ (6.75$ now). I noticed many powering up their winnings and am thinking of adding something in the line of 'double prize money if ~50%+ of previous contest payout was powered up)
      • Listing bets no longer need the handicap, just the team or team over/ team under is enough. In the end it doesn't make any difference to me and it should lower the amount of mistakes and make it more easy to enter.
      • Jackpot payout is nog 60%-40% instead of 70%-30%
