There are some things you shouldn’t ignore.

Despite your best attempts to downplay the situation, and act like seeing a room full of Elvis clones is so vanilla, Oddy isn’t having any of it.

He strides across the room, towards the control panel, his heavy skull rings clink the big red button. Tubes hiss, spilling open in a hip-swaying cloud of pure sex appeal, and in the sudden emergence, you lose track of Oddy.

Tassels ripple in the fray as the clones close in with a resounding wall of uh-huh-huhs. You throw Tio a glance, he stands square, drum sticks drawn. Following suit, Machete and Tres bare their guitars, jabbing the frets towards the approaching hair-sprayed horde.

Tio jumps forward, bashing out a thumping beat on the thick clone skulls. You swing your guitar into a clone entirely consisting of hair, the strings pinging an epic rift as they catch each one, ripping through the abomination. It makes no difference, the clones keep on coming.

You fight bravely, the musical trance engulfing each band member, instruments screaming their melody with each clone dispatched. A seemingly endless, thrusting and shimming army has you entirely surrounded. There’s no escape.

In the final death throes of the Tortillas de Pelo, instruments thrashing, you play what may have been the most metal punk song known to man. Sadly, not a single ‘thank you very much’ was muttered in appreciation as a reinforced pelvis crushes your bones.
