  1. To eavesdrop/Run toward the alarm to watch the fire engines
  2. to be in trouble-hot water/to cook wienerschnitzel dutch style
  3. Easy as pie/a really hot tamale date

My entry is on behalf of Play 4 a Newbie Challenge. All proceeds will go to a newbie Prize Pool and hopefully you will get other players to join in your game too!

I have I ask, what is a tamale? (8)

In non slang it is a cornmeal wrapped mexican/american dish with tomato sauce usually filled with pork, beef or chicken, then wrapped in a corn husk and baked. they are pretty tasty, so a really hot tamale would be a real sexy latino type woman.

Huh, I did not know that! Which country is this slang in?

Common slang in central California in the 70's. Sacramento (the capital) in the 70's had a city Identity crisis, I think because they felt no one knew where it was. Calif. in the 70's was all about San Francisco, and LA. But it did have a large Latino Population.
