Selling our Souls to Exist in the System

Look in the Mirror, More than likely you have sold your Soul.

I watched "What the health? " recently on Netflix. The documentary helped to change my life. It also made me very angry at the medical community. The documentary shows how the sick care industry knowingly promotes expensive operations and pills as treatment for the tremendous profit that it supplies rather than suggest the less expensive option of healing through diet and exercise, all because of money. It also showed how big business like cargill, Burger King, Subway helps to promote eating a poor diet through donating to charities like american cancer society, american diabetes association, and the american heart association. So all these organizations are selling proper knowledge about health for money, and keeping us ignorant. The government system is the backbone for the deceit and the system is designed for its benefit.

What the Health Trailer Below

So upon learning all of this I became angry at all the people involved with the lies that are knowingly keeping people sick just for money. It was not until I changed my own diet that I realized that I too profit from making and keeping people sick. I am an owner of a family chocolate business, a business that sells chocolates to chubby kids, diabetics, and obese people among many other unhealthy people. I am at the point where I do not want to be a part of the business but I cannot live without the income. I am no better than the scum in the medical community who perform unnecessary surgery and it shows me what a hypocrite I am. So the next time you get ready to point your finger at someone else, be sure to closely examine your own actions and industries you support before you do, you might just find some things that make you a hypocrite.

I really need to watch that. I've been told about it and kind of avoided it because some of these truths are too painful and make me angry. Mindfulness goes a long way. I know excessive sweets and chocolate is not good for me, but it doesn't mean I won't eat a piece of chocolate if I feel like it because moderation and a system to check ourselves needs to be in place. We all need to be more accountable to ourselves too.

What I learned/believe now is there is no such thing as moderation. I am trying to go fully raw foods now, as soon as I eat just a little cooked food I WANT MORE lol. Please do watch it when you have time, me , my brother and my mom all changed what we ate the DAY we watched it. BUT, I do agree with you it is SCARY stopping eating foods you LOVE. By the way, I used to have constant stomach pain all day, have not had pain AT ALL in last 2 weeks- I just started juicing 2 months ago or so, feel really good so far.

I hear you. I've never been excessive or overly indulgent with my eating. I've always stopped when I was full and only eat when I'm hungry. I think that's helped. I just did a three day juice and it was super easy. No excess hunger or headaches, but I did get tired of just drinking my meals. I will watch that program though.

Interesting!
