Britain refuses diplomatic status to Julian Assange
Britain refused to recognize Julian Assange as a diplomat of Ecuador, rejecting the request made by the Quito government. This was reported by a spokesman for the Foreign Office, according to which the case of the co-founder of Wikileaks, refugee since 2012 in the diplomatic headquarters of the South American country in London, can only be solved if the latter decides to go out and "face justice". According to the South American media, Assange became a citizen of Ecuador with a passport.
