One of the best ways to keep people from something, is to make them fear it, to associate it with evil or wrong doing. This has been done with Freemasonry like mad over the last 100 years, but especially since the internet age.
Here is one amazing thing about Freemasonry that almost no one understands.
In order to become a Freemason, the only major qualifier is that you have to have a belief in a supreme being or power. They dont care if you are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist or whatever. They accept all religions, and allow you to keep that religion in your heart. You will use that supreme guide of yours to navigate through the Masonic degrees to supreme knowledge and Gnosis.
How can you hate the only organization that has successfully brought conflicting religions together for the better good?

Most people who shit on Freemasonry dont know a thing about it except for the bullshit they find online by other idiots. They havent read any books by actual Masons. They may have glanced at book ON Masonry by a multitude of overzealous outsiders, but never read a book OF Masonry by an actual Mason. And those that hide the founders teachings, that keep you fearing Masons, that seek to destroy world religions rather than mending them, are the Atheistic, godless scientific dictatorship that loath the idea of respecting a higher power. And you find most of them to the left, with most of the rest of societies illusory trash.

The more founding fathers you read, the more you will loathe what our government has become. They agreed that government was inherently evil, and thus, since it is necessary, it should be as small as possible. So when you see the way our United States seeks to expand and police the world, you see the same issues they fought against.
How can an historically literate person believe that the founders, many of which were Masons, were part of the "NWO" conspiracy to take over the world, when they were clearly trying to tear themselves away from an ideology which wanted ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT.
Tell me why a nation whos most iconic king, George Washington, is unknown to nearly every American citizen? I always find conspiracy theories kind of fun to read about/watch on Youtube because they are entertaining, but that's about it. Most of them are so utterly ridiculous. I didn't know that they (Masons) accept all religions but require a belief in a higher power, that's such a cool thing that they are open to all faiths.
Its a wonderful thing too. We all prefer to be around faithful people. Faithful people are easy to be around, easy to love. The only requirement to be a Mason is to be a person of faith.
I believe each of the United States has at leastt one hospital wher eveything is paid for by the " sriners", a branch of Freemasonry. I am prepared to be correct on the totality of the payment, but is very close to all.
In NZ the freemasons have a charity set up to cover 3 chairs of medicine in the universitys.
There are secrets of recognition tto try and prevent the freeloaders taking all the charity,money that they can without being a member.
And they refrain from commenting on ppolitics and religion in there meetings in the interests of harmony

With any large pyramidical organization, sociopaths and narcissists rise to the top. Thus, what may have been started for good, is now absolutely corrupt the higher you go.
Freemasons also have to swear many oaths to not share their information that they learn in the organization. At one time it was necessary to hide the knowledge because of persecution, but now it is a time to release the information to all the people.
Freemasons also have different levels where they teach different things. Often these things are about the same thing. So, basically lying to the initiates. (and to the middle levels too).
Until freemasons actively start to release the information they have, stop being secretive and stop playing games with knowledge, they may do all kinds good in the world, but I will not associate with them.
When a child is in a room about to stick something in the electrical socket, even though its plastic, you still tell them to stay way. You may say something like "boogyman is in there and he will hurt you". You dont have time to explain, and neither does the small child have the ability to understand how electricity works, and that plastic is fine. You just tell them to stay the hell away.

Logic and reason were something the founders held in high regard, authoring many books to teach their subjects in this area. They wanted to enlighten America. The problem shouldnt be with Masons, because the teachings are nothing but helpful.
People want to attribute all of our modern evils to them just because some powerful men who are associated with Masonry seem to be part of those evils. But this is ignorant.
Until you can prove ill in the actual teachings themselves, there is no basis for associating Masonic wisdom with modern evil.
Knowledge is power, and just because powerful people SOMETIMES do evil, that doesnt make their well of knowledge evil.

You ad hominums do not bode well for you being a good source of information to challenge my views on my personal observations.
I am with you on considering the logic of beliefs and the outcome of living them as being more important then the lives of who those beliefs have been attributed to. I do not consider authority, tradition, popularity or their opposites to be reliable indications of the truthfulness or usefulness of any idea.
But, I also agree with other commentors here that they should open source all of their information if it is in fact valuable and they truly want the world to be changed because of it. Keeping their truth proprietary inhibits growth and innovation the same as in software code and patents. Instead of using concealment and initiation to control knowledge/power, they ought to recognize that only those who are ready will be curious enough to go looking and capable of understanding.

I have so much love for this post. I've been very into conspiracy theories these days. I just got into a conversation the other day with a friend who was invited to join the Free Masons and we got into a conversation about how these societies have been demonized. The Illuminati.
