March Competiton Winner
Well, that was a disappointment. Not for those of you who participated, but more that I said that 'this competition was going to go through the roof' and in the end I get 3 entries ...
For those who thought I'd announce the winner of my 'Book giveaway Competition' that I started spontaneously on Saturday, you need to be more patient as there's still plenty of time to participate. 🐺 My most motivating moment in life 🐺
As I was young my dream was to be a pilot, well that was a dream I had to give up on fairly quickly as I'm colorblind and I have a lazy eye. So I quickly learnt that in life one has to adjust his dreams as he grows and learns.
When I was 18 I was working in a restaurant and I had a boss who was a great inspiration to me and after years of not knowing what I wanted to do, I decided to take his example and wanting to become an F&B Manager. I started doing the Hotelschool, I did my placement in a hotel, I worked my butt off and when I was 27 I got my opportunity to live my dream.
I became the F&B Manager of a hotel with 220 bedrooms. In my period I opened a coffee shop in the hotel on a main road in London, I led a full restaurant refurbishment and I saw the hotel expand from 220 to 266 bedrooms. After that one has to re-evaluate his life and set new goals, which i did. My next target was becoming a General Manager, which I then achieved back in the Netherlands at the age of 30 and not one hotel, but 2 straight away.
That's how meeting the right person in my life, changed my life upside down and became my most motivating point in life.
