If you aren't aware SBD are trading for over $10 on Bittrex and many other exchanges! We're still researching as to the cause of this, but it's a great time to blog on Steemit! An average post of just $2 can now net you over $10! You can sell your SBD on an exchange, buy more Steem to power up with or invest into cryptocurrencies! Do not use the conversion on Steemit though, send your SBD out to an exchange. The blockchain only recognizes 1 SBD as $1 worth of Steem and you will lose out as many people are reporting.

New To Steemit - This is a new channel to help assist new users's questions regarding Steemit. It's also a place for bringing new users on board. We can officially announce bringing a friend of @rt395 's, @et7 . We are thinking of keeping a scoreboard of how many new users we can get signed up to Steemit.

@inquiringtimes is hosting a welcoming contest to be released in 8 different individual contest posts over the next 4 weeks. The first post shall be released later today. The idea of this contest is to incentivize the behavior of helping new users to find their way on the steemit platform. He will be crowdsourcing all of the best guides, writing new guides, and streamlining the new user experience as best as possible. Make sure to keep your eyes out, as this is sure to be an exciting way to bring in the New Year.
