Yes the blockchain and its community is supporting artists and creatives around the world. The question is how to find this support and how to participate!

On the platform, some motivated steemians such as @juliank, @old-guy-photos, @liliana.duarte, @kalemandra, @uwelang, @dswigle, @detlev, @ace108, @lizanomadsoul, and many others wonderful people are organizing a serie of regular challenges to make your artwork, more accessible, discoverable and supported more easily!

As you might have realized, the current group of @globalschool is studying photography, this is why I tried to compile this list of photo contests, so they can participate and get to explore the platform on the very topic at the center of their interest.

      Hi Jean, I found also Sundaypurple and Thursdaygreen, but I don‘t know who initiated them, but colorchallenge is always nice I think,
      it‘ s like looking on the world with colored glasses, fun.

      I'll update the list which is accessible here for everyone to contribute and used to share with the students or anyone who want to learn more about the various contests in the #photography category.
