Hi! Like some of you know I’m part of Qurator team. Every day I get questions about our services and how to be a member. I decided to make this post answering the most frequent questions about @qurator

What is Qurator?

@qurator is a community project that rewards its members for their original content and hard work. We believe that the best way of helping the community is by supporting our members post with upvotes, resteems, competitions and our daily magazine among other initiatives

How can I become a member of Qurator?

Easy! Just send 4 STEEM to @qurator with your username in memo and the team will verify your account. That can take up to 3 days. You will get a message in your wallet saying if you were approved or not. If your application was denied you will get the 4 STEEM back. After you get approved, you will get a bonus of 30 days of Tier 4.

Why my application was denied?

There are various reason why your application to become a member was denied. The most common are: plagiarism, wrong image sourcing and spam. You can go to our discord and ask why your application was denied to one of our moderators and then re-apply in two weeks. Also, you can check HERE for more info about how to source correctly your images.

What is a Tier?

Tier is a level. The upvote percentage you receive in your post depends on what Tier you are. There are different Tiers with several options to help you achieve better upvotes.

How do I get a better Tier?

For the first 30 days after becoming a member, you will be on Tier 4 but there are several ways to get a better Tier. You can upvote 7 @qurator posts per week, subscribe with STEEM or delegate SP. You can also make combinations (upvotes, STEEM, SP delegation) to get access to better Tiers. Our moderators will explain how you can get better tiers and which options are the best for you. You can find all this information in our weekly status report post or go to our discord and one of our moderators will gladly help you.

How can I check my Tier?

There are two ways:

1- You can go to our discord channel, enter in the room #qurator-asistant and verify your information there writing this command:
!profile @user
Example: !profile @bigotemaifriend

I have permission from the user @bigotemaifriend to use his info as example

2- All the Tier information comes out every Monday in a detailed post.

Is there any other way to get a better Tier?

Yes! @qurator have different competitions where the prize is a Tier 5 for 30 days. We currently have this competitions:

• Tasty Tuesday – Food competition
  
• Toss Up Thursday – all kind of content is allowed
  
• Photo Friday – photography competition

What other initiatives @qurator have?

We have a daily magazine called The Daily Qurator where we highlight our members posts. We also have 2 special editions Shining Qurite and Shooting Star where we choose one of our members and reward them for their hard work. Our members are stars for us, they deserve to shine!

Can I participate in more than one competition?

Yes! The competitions are our way to give an extra push to our members. Just make sure to follow the rules of our competitions and have fun!
