The Communities of the Month Application | 19/08/2021

in #communities-2021093 years ago (edited)

Hello, dear Steemit Team and all Steemians!

Our community is reapplying for curation within "The Communities of the Month" support program.

Community Steem-BRU (BY-RU-UA) was originally created to unite authors from three countries: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine. Recently, some newcomers from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and other Russian-speaking countries have also appeared in our friendly community.

The goal of the community is to adapt newbies and develop all Russian-speaking authors on the Steemit platform.

Getting into a new social network, it is very important to quickly adapt and feel like "home". Our community welcomes everyone and helps to navigate. Pinned posts have some useful information:

What to write about on Steemit

Where to find answers to popular questions

All of ther questions can also be asked in the community chat in telegram.

In addition, there are many contests that help to create quality content on Steemit. At the same time, the authors of the community develop as individuals: someone learns delicious culinary recipes, someone learns to make pictures or even write poems.

The authors are happy to join our community, because it is cozy and friendly here, no one sends anyone to the ban. This is a unique community where everyone can find their own contests of interest, get support.

The leaders team is based on representatives of Russia and Ukraine — @filinpaul, @knopka145, @olesia, @antorv. Thanks to their colossal work, a community where authors from different countries feel united, was created. They promptly answer to newbies' questions and help to find interesting topics for writing posts. Working languages are Russian and Ukrainian, many competitions are also duplicated in English.

They have an access key to the curator account @steem-bru.

The team also includes @greatketty, @dmitrik and @vlad26. They are responsible for checking plagiarism and developing the community through various contests and the development of useful services.

The community team also volunteers @slon21veka, @strecoza, @notannov. They regularly run various contests, thereby increasing the attractiveness of the community.

Team members receive only attention and public recognition for their work. It sometimes happens that the curator01 will support the posts of the moderators, which additionally motivates to continue and develop the business that has been started.

The community has a curated account @steem-bru, which was created in April this year. On August 19, strength is 36,555.54 SP (6,963.56 own + 29,591.98 delegated). About a month ago, the strength was 28,175.46 SP (4,210.65 own 23,964.81 — delegated). Conclusion: during the period of support (which is still lasting!), both the own power of the account and the delegated one have increased significantly. The total growth is 8380 SP, or 29.74% (19 August, 2021).

Another important data about growth is written in the last Weekly Report.

Delegators of the account are 56 authors! You can get acquainted with the list of delegators following the link.

103-105 posts are maintained every week.

There are 2543 subscribers in the community, of which 268 are active, this is 10.5%.

All payments from posts automatically go into effect, increasing the value of the account. Withdrawing funds is prohibited by the rules.

Country representatives have access to the account: @filinpaul, @knopka145, @olesia, @antorv.

CSI is 12.3 (0.00% own, 102 upvotes, 45 accounts).

The account is involved in supporting authors on a daily basis.

The main content in the community is contests and a diary game. If questions with the game of diaries usually do not arise, then the entries are constantly checked for plagiarism.

This is done by both the organizers of the contests and the moderators. The @endingplagiarism team also has reviews in the community.

Both texts and photographs are checked for uniqueness. A lot of preventive work is being done in the community. In the pinned posts there is a lecture by @antorv on copyright, which explains the basic rules for using other people's photos.

Competition organizers and moderators are actively working to ensure that all entries receive attention. The community has organized its own strong community, where everyone is interested in each other's life, comments and entertains.

To increase activity and engagement, a system of encouraging authors for activity has been introduced since August. The rules are short: one post per day brings 5 points, one comment — 3 points, 1 point can be obtained for 100% up or 4 ups of 25%. More information about the rules is written here.

This innovation was happily supported by the community members. The total amount of comments for the first week is 2948, the amount of ups is 4491.

Such a system allows for good support of both novice authors on the platform and already well-known ones.

Steem-BRU is a unique community that strives not only to support its creators, but also to bring ongoing benefits to the Steemit platform.

In August, a long-standing idea and dream of many community members was implemented - tracking the most active authors (discussed above). Currently, work is underway to automate the counting of votes - writing a special program @alexmove.

The creation of such a service will play a significant role in supporting the communities on Vox. Each community will be able to reward the most active authors, and the authors, in turn, will always be able to find out what place they occupy in the rating of authors, which will motivate them to further increase their activity.

It is extremely important that the program will completely eliminate the human factor and avoid possible mistakes, while saving a lot of time for the creators of this rating.

The community also regularly publishes news of the delegation and the growth of the curator account. This allows authors to receive higher payouts for their posts, get motivation for further growth and delegation. There is also news of the Steemit platform in Russian translated by @dmitrik from the author @pennsif.

In order to increase the power of the vote, from August 20, the community has a rule for contests: send 10% of the payment per post to the curator account.

Once a day, community moderators prepare a list of quality posts for support. The criteria are pretty simple: you need to use your own photos and write unique texts.

Currently, the following promotional channels are involved:

Word of mouth (participants tell their friends and acquaintances about the platform, which allows them to attract new authors).

Social networks, in particular telegrams (small posts about Steemit in communities dedicated to cryptocurrencies).

Various offline events: relay race "Steemit in your city" (free advertising on the streets, as well as promotional walks from @strecoza in a branded T-shirt). The walks were at the most "rush hour" - on the seashore in the most popular summer season.

The Steem-BRU (BY-RU-UA) community is unique in that it unites several countries at once. The authors develop independently, and also bring a lot of new things for the development of the platform as a whole.

There is a very friendly atmosphere and an atmosphere of mutual assistance here. A unique selling point is the ability to quickly adapt to the platform for all Russian-speaking authors. According to Wikipedia, there are more than 260 million Russian-speaking authors. It is not enough to know about the Steemit platform, it is extremely important to quickly find answers to all questions and get support. Then Steemit will become the main platform for all bloggers. The community is constantly bringing in new contributors and helping them get familiar with the platform.

@greatketty (feat @filinpaul)

Hi all! The Steemit platform did not immediately become clear to me. When registering two years ago, it did not work to increase the strength of SP and I stopped posting my posts. Came back again almost 4 months ago. the site has changed for the better. Found the Steem-BRU community using the #russia tag by accident. My first post was for the contest from @olesia and @dmitrik. The second post to the contest from @notannov, where she won a prize! Then she began to share stories from everyday life in THE DIARY GAME. Thanks to @greatketty for explaining that it is more profitable to delegate your SP to BRU and it is easier to develop together. Which I did. Now my SP is growing faster.

I confirm! I create automation in NodeJs. You can track the development progress in my posts:
