"Backyard Tropic Flower" - Colorful Photography *6/17/18*
These, fellow Steemians, are Gladiolas.
Although they can come in many different colors, they also can come in pure white.
They are a perennial flower, which means that they can flower and die, and come back to life in full bloom multiple seasons. Being nicknamed the "sword lily," the are part of the Iris family.

They are naturally derived from Asia, Mediterranean, Europe, South Africa, and parts of tropical Africa. Yet, that doesn't mean that those are the only ares they can grow. You purchase their seeds, also known as bulbs, and they can survive and thrive through states in America.
