Colorchallenge Friday Blue - Götheborg worlds largest wooden sailing ship!
In 2008 a beautiful ship came to my birth hometown Ystad, it was a big event so many people was waiting.
The ship is Götheborg, the largest wooden sailing ship that is operational.
It's a replica of a Swedish ship that sank in 18th century.
2008 was the first year that the vessel completed the Baltic sea tour.
Truly majestic when you look up
A man dressed in 18th century clothing was talking about the ship and its history and how everyone on board of the vessel survived when it sank.
After that it was time to go on board the ship and it was a great experience and I took crazy many pictures 😉 but hey its a once in a lifetime chance.

This was the highlight of the tour and gave you an idea what it was like and how big the canons were.

I don't know for sure but I think the thought was that people would be able to sail along.
I just don't know if they have done it yet.
First time I ever seen a ship like this in real life and to go on board and se it all was amazing 😊

That would be great, I've sailed on schooners before which are similar but a little more modern. It would be amazing to sail on something like this though :) a great weekend to you too :)
