Spring Is Finally Here!
Finally A Beautiful Spring Day

Now Its Feels Like Spring
This winter was long and it feels like it lasted forever. But now we had our first 80 degree day and the flowers are finally blooming! Its time to get out and enjoy life!
I plan on getting out to the park on a daily basis and watching the kids play baseball and soccer. Its where I can get exercise and also find smiles... I love the innocence of children and enjoy very much seeing them happy just exploring something new that life has to offer them!

This picture really makes me anxious to get out the golf clubs. And I suck at golf! Actually gets me more anxious get the bat glove and ball out, really.

sometimes the messages get crossed and I forget which was in front of the other. I have been in and out the last 3 days as I had a water heater break and trying to contain the damage. I did see Lynn's post, but I think it was after this comment. And my Mom is good, we went to the movies yesterday and looking forward to Sunday dinner tomorrow :).. And yes, I'm happy to see my real friend Brian anytime! :D

I'm glad someone's having 80 degree weather somewhere. When I came out to my office this morning it was 39 degrees. I think the sun came out for a while during the afternoon and it got up to about 58. Then it rained. Again. :)
But the cherry trees have blossomed and the tulips are starting to grow, and the grass is a little taller, so I guess there's some progress here.
It looks like there's a netting or fencing or something between the flower bed and the greenway behind it. Looks like she lives off of a park or a golf course of some kind.
Yes I know the feeling well. Today is the first day it really felt like spring... All the other days it got a little warmer during the day, but still got cold at night so it kinda cancelled it out. I have been looking forward to this spring a lot, it has taken awhile but hopefully now is here to say for at least a month.
That's the screen from her porch that you are seeing... She was taking the pick from inside looking out over the golf course. She lives on the edge of number 17 green. It really is a nice view she has... And you can't really tell from that picture, but it is a steep hill that those flowers are on... It makes it fun when I do the mulch every year, a nice workout for sure!

What a beautiful photo Dave; I have such fond memories of growing up, sitting on my grandparents porch and watching life go by. You mom must be so happy to be able to get outside and enjoy those beautiful plants she has there. And good for you to get out from in front of a computer screen and enjoy the nice weather that has finally arrived :)

I think they were probably watching you more though (now that I'm older I think I appreciate things more).. And yes she does love her plants... And guess who gets to spread the mulch every year? (this guy) :P
And yes even though its not the beach (really awesome that you have that), it is nice to get out a little and sniff some fresh air! ;)

As we get older, we really do learn to appreciate what's important in life; we all thought we were so darn smart in our 20's but really, we knew absolutely nothing ;)
Take it from this farmgirl, it's good for you to get a little dirt under your nails sometimes ! And you're such a good son, I'm sure she appreciates it very much...I bet she's right there with you giving all kinds of direction too :)
You never need the Queen's permission to get out and enjoy life's beauty!! In fact this week, I've decided to cut back my time here and live more outside and with Brian in general. Steemit will always be here and I need to find a happy medium. Glen can continue writing novels and keeping the crown!

I know... isn't that the truth! :P ... and haha you got that right.. My mom loves giving "directions" ... that's why its good that we live in 2 separate houses... Great to visit, but neither of us could stand each other if we lived under one roof :P ... :)
Yes I think that is great that you and Brian get out and enjoy all the wonderful pleasures of your area... And of course, steemit will be here and more importantly your friends will be here (no matter how long you decide to chill out)... That's what I love about steemit is the connections and the friendships I've made... All the other things are just ways to make those connections, but the bottom line is I'm here for people!

Kids aren't supposed to live with their parents after a certain time, they drive each other crazy...it's nature's way of making sure we all eventually leave home :)
Brian is certainly my priority, but I do feel a priority to my friends here, like you, not necessarily steemit so to speak. I know you understand what I'm saying.
