Color Challenge - Sunday Purple: Underwater with Naomi

Heres one from my first season of underwater shoots with Naomi. I've photographed Naomi previously a number of time for fashion shoots and she volunteered for my creative shoot at the mention of it being underwater.

Shooting in the late afternoon as the second model that day we get some sunbeams coming in which I though made a nice effect as well as the excessive air bubbles due to the filteration/heating system pumping too much air into the water.

Keep stable clean and clear conditions in a pool environment has been proven a challenge from the first year right up to now. There are so many variables that heavily effect clarity right from the type of chlorine and chemicals being used in the pool.
Im hoping to kick off the next season of underwater shoots in Sydney only to find out major leaks in the filteration system and a number of smaller ones in the heater. Pain to fix but hopefully will be sorted out in a week or so.

Underwater model shoots is a self funded personal creative art project I do for the sake of creating art and also challenging myself technically to improve as a photographer. Aside from being extremely challenging in all aspects its also one of the most expensive and high risk due to cost of equipment, chance of equipment damage that insurance PDS here state they won't insure, safety for myself and the model/team. Always great to get some feedback, support or help finding sponsorship/clients to keep these personal projects alive.
