My thoughts on CoinGecko's 2019 Q2 Cryptocurrency Report

My first impression of the report was WOW, impressive! Good job @coingecko team for coming up a report for all of us to get an information of what have been going on at the second quarter of the year 2019. The report is very helpful to keep updated of what had happened, as you all know anything happen in crypto scene is so fast because the technology evolve so much.
The way how @coingecko structure the reports together with images make a lot of different, it is easy to understand and the language they use is not too technical too. Anyone can understand the report easily. Summer is here for crypto!
Facebook Libra Announcement
Ever since Libra had been announced, I haven't really share my thoughts to the public yet and thanks to @coingecko summarized the Facebook Libra including the white paper from page 22 - page 25. You can get an idea of what is Libra Coin, who is behind Libra, when will Libra launch, where does the Libra association register at, why there is a Libra coin and etc.
I always believe there are 2 side of the coins, Libra will be introduced to the mass which might or might not be increasing the adoption of cryptocurrency but what I know was after the announcement even my sister talk about Libra whom previously do not know anything about cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin due to the 2017 Bitcoin touched 20K. The peoples who is not in crypto scene is talking about it, that the positive side of how I look at it. However, for the negative side is I can't say much due to it's hasn't launch and not sure how does it really work yet.
But then, the governments in the world have tons of negative response toward Libra Coin, David Marcus the head of Libra was called for a hearing by the US House Committee. It doesn't sound so positive. It got a lot of backlash from many countries government. I guess for now, we just have to wait and see what next for Libra coin.
@coingecko is introducing Trust Score
According the @coingecko, the trust score was introduced to tackle the questionable reported volume from the exchanges. I'm glad that they introduced this initiative, at least they're taking the effort to help their users to get to see the real numbers instead of fake volume. I give a BIG THUMBS UP!!
There are a lot more I want to write but I would love to leave it to you to read the full report to understand and discover it yourself. Have fun reading the reports!
