CNY is around the corner!! Today I am going to introduce another CNY deco in HK!!

Here is Langham place at Mong Kok, the theme of this year is "yum cha" (eating dim sum)! They placed some large dim sum decoration..those are so cute and seems returned to the past. Those large dim sum decoration are reflecting the traditional dim sum cultural which have been replaced by computer or else!

新年快要來了! 我今天要介紹一下旺角朗豪坊都新年佈置 :)
今年他們的主題是"飲茶"(吃點心)!他們放置了好多大型的點心擺件..全部都好可愛又好像回到了小時候的樣子! 因為那些點心擺件都是按以前的點心文化作藍本做出來的. 現在..隨著科技跟生活的改變,已經沒有多少茶樓有這些文化了!

You need to order tea like (Dragon Well 龍井,Green Spiral 碧螺春,Puer 普洱,Long Brow 壽眉). The tea leaves kept in a can in order to avoid be affected with damp!
Then get the tea leaves and put it in the tea pot..steep for a while :)

The above photos are showing the tea pot, can for keeping tea leaves.

首先你要叫茶,一般茶樓都會有(龍井,碧螺春,普洱,壽眉).茶葉都會放在罐內,以免受潮!
然後就拿茶葉放進茶壺,在茶壺內泡一會就可以喝了!
上面的照片就是放茶葉的罐跟茶壺了!

In the past, the staff put several kinds of dim sum in the trolley and walked around the restaurant! It was an exciting thing when the staff shout what dim sum are there in the car.

If your favourite dim sum was there, you need to take the stamp card to that trolley, get the dim sum and staff will stamp on the card as a record.

從前,茶樓的姨姨會把幾種的點心放進點心車.然後推著車子繞場一周,還會邊走邊叫著車內點心的種類!
聽到他們叫點心的聲音..就會覺得好開心!

如果你喜歡,想吃的點心在車內..拿著點心卡去車那邊拿點心,再把卡給姨姨蓋印就好了!

jelly cup and rabbit mashmallow are popular traditional snacks in the past. Most of kids want to get the paper umbrella which put together with jelly cubes.

Nowadays, jelly cubes and rabbit mashmallow have been replaced by other desserts,like sago pudding, milk pudding.

啫哩杯跟白兔棉花糖都是傳統茶樓有的甜點!小孩子都很愛點啫哩杯...因為想要拿到啫哩杯插著的小紙傘! 哈哈

到現在,啫哩杯跟白兔棉花糖都被其他創意甜點取代了,像西米布丁,牛奶布丁等!

Recently, people love to try creative dim sum, like Egg custard bun with pig appearance,mochi with peanut fillings with tangerine appearance!
It is cute but lack of traditional feelings.

最近..很多人都愛做創意點心,像把奶皇包做成小豬的樣子,糯米糍做成桔的樣子!
是很可愛...但卻少了一份傳統的感覺!
