WhereIN 3rd Decentralized offline meetup – Discussion of community on blockchain

It’s been a rough 6 months down the road, finally we’re having some success and managed to contain the spread of the virus in China. And we, in WhereIn finally continue to host the next decentralize discussion meetup.

Decentralize workshop started since December 18 back in 2019. We’ve successfully host 3 offline meet up, other than that, we have also interviewed 13 other different community leader to share with us on their success in managing community. We, have a vision of onboarding more community, organization, incorporate, and empowered them with blockchain technologies.

WhereIn hosted the 3^rd decentralized offline meetup, with the goal of discussing and brain storming for community building and onboarding. We have limited attendance to 18 attendees this time around, due to control of crowd and social distancing.

Fellow attendees are very excited on our discussion and multiple topics about decentralization and blockchain technologies. Discussion including communities that is currently resides in the blockchain, how can we start a community with a sound ecosystem that is lasting and self-sufficient, and brain storming on how to make it our daily accessible and useful tool. And all these, are based on Steem blockchain as our stepping stone.

Other than that, we’ve also discussed about proof of brain rewarding system, witnesses, voting mechanism, so fellow community leaders are aware of the ecosystem.

Finally, we split into two groups, to continue discussion and brain storming on how to develop applications and tools on blockchain technologies that may further improve the community(their communities) so we can put more communities onboard of #steem #blockchain.

It has been a very fruitful 3 hours, each and every of our participants are excited and couldn’t stop talking about our ideas of improving the ecosystem and how these decentralize technology may benefit their(our) community. STEEM is planted a seed in China, we will be continuing this path and strive to grow bigger and stronger than ever.

经过半年的努力，疫情在中国得到了非常好的控制，WhereIN也继续在中国·成都举办区块链相关活动。

 

分布式协作实验室［以下简称实验室］于2019年12月18日成立，至今我们举办了三场线下活动，也邀请社群与区块链大咖进行了13期相关话题的分享。我们的愿景是探索基于区块链的社群新组织形式，让社群里的个人更好地展现自我。

这是WhereIN带领的实验室举办的第三次线下聚会活动，为了更好地对主题进行探讨和共创，我们限制了人数，只召集了18位伙伴来参加。

 

伙伴们非常热情，一来就表达了各自的激情以及对主题的兴趣。我们从组织发展的规律开始，谈到了基于区块链的社群未来将作为一种重要的组织形式改变我们的经济生活。其中，Steem区块链在社交方面迈出了重要的一步，这将成为我们的基础。

 

然后，我们专题分享了Steem的内容挖矿、见证人、提案投票系统等机制，让大家对Steem进行了一定了解。

 

最后，我们划分两个小组，就社群需要的区块链工具进行了共创，两组伙伴就各自领域提出了两套非常棒的方案，我们后续会将这些想法在Steem上实现。

 

活动持续近三个小时，大家意犹未尽，希望这样的活动成为常态，持续深入就Steem区块链如何为社群带来巨大价值展开更具体的讨论和实践。Steem在中国已种下种子，我们会一步步让其开花，越来越艳丽。
