一线幽涧乌龙潭 Black Dragon Pound

Do you like legend stories? Have you ever heard about the Black Dragon Pound? This is what I gonna talk about today.

The name of the Balck Dragon Pound was derived from a poignant legend. Due to frequent widespread droughts, the mountain farmers often tapped in hardship. Two childhood fall in love and married without the permission of parents when growing up. The lady's mother decided to marry her to another richman outside the mountain. She refused and jump off the diff with her lover. Moved by their loyalty and chastity, the black dragon filled up the water into the deep pound. From then on, mountains and rivers wer nourished, trees were verdant, and farmers lived and worked in peace.

乌龙潭源自一个凄美的传说。这个地方原来是十年九旱，山民们的生活十分困苦。有一对年轻的男女从小青梅竹马并且私定终身，女方的父母准备将女儿嫁到山外一个富人家，女子誓死不从，与男子双双跳崖殉情！乌龙被这对恋人的忠贞所感动，于是在跳崖的地方蓄满无底深潭。从此，山川滋润，树木葱茏，山民安居乐业！
