This store is the most traditional type in Hong Kong, you will find at least one shop at every local market. Before the big chain furniture store arrive Hong Kong, such as Ikea, Private and Japan Home etc., all the family stuff were bought at these store!

They are so amazing, they offer more than thousand goods, any minor home stuff you can bought at there. I remember once upon the time when I was a child. My family had a home-made hot-pot, we forgot to bought the special spoon for hot-pot, then my dad go downstairs to buy the spoon at these old style store at once within 5 mins.

As you seen at the above photo, another funny scene is every store will use all the space of shop to show their goods. Even the ceiling, you can find there had rubbish bin, shower basin, washroom cleaning tools etc..

Although there had many new big brand chain furniture store in Hong Kong, people still enjoy the warmness & friendliness. The friendship among the boss of store and the neighbourhood customers are unvaluable!

這是香港最傳統的雜貨店，每區的街市裡總有一家，在大型連鎖家具店在香港發展之前，如宜家、實惠和日本城等等，大部份家庭用品都是在這些雜貨店選購的！

這些雜貨店的貨品種類是如此驚人，提供超過一千種商品，你想到的任何家庭用品都可以在那裡買得到。我記得小時候有一次，家庭晚餐是打邊爐，忘了買專用的勺子，於是我父親就到樓下的這家雜貨店買勺子，只用了數分鐘時間，真的方便非常。

如在上面的照片中所看到的，另一個有趣的場景是每家雜貨店都會用盡店內所有空間來展示貨品，即使是天花板，也可以找到垃圾桶、淋浴盆、洗手間清潔工具等等。

雖然香港有很多新的大型連鎖家具店，但街坊們仍然很喜歡光顧這些充滿人情味的雜貨店，因為老闆和街坊之間多年的友誼是無價的！
