Today I want to show you some newspaper stall in Hong Kong! The following information by wiki:

"The first newspaper file in Hong Kong appeared in 1904 and was located at the Peak Cable Car. In the early days of Hong Kong, the newspaper was in English, and the half-mountain and the top of the mountain were fluent in English. Before the newspaper file appeared, the newspaper was sold by the newspaper vendor."

"The Hong Kong newspapers were already standardized in the 1960s. The design was drafted by John Browett, a Sentinel-Poly Police Superintendent at that time, and later re-launched the government gazette. In the 1960s and 1970s, there were newspaper files around the streets of Hong Kong. Especially the tea house is at the door."

In the past ten years, technology has developed, and many people's reading habits have changed. The usage of electronic PDAs, e-books, mobile phones, computers, are more common. So paper media is very hard to alive. However, these newspapers stall will still be found in every district in Hong Kong!

Another competitor for newspaper stall is the convenience store. You can see that every convenience store also has a variety of newspapers and magazines, but people often like the humanity of the local newspaper stall!

On the other hand, the collective memory of newspaper stall is the comic book when you read in the childhood. The following one is my favorite comic weekly magazine, that have a inside A2 size poster. I collected them all week by week, all of the contents are Japan comic!

After the weekly comics were stopped, we bought EXAM. The printing outlook was more similar to the Japanese manga magazine. In those years, because of too many storages, they were all abandoned!

As a local special style, I hope that the newspaper block will continue to survive. In fact, the service can be transformed. Now most of the newsstands will also sell cigarettes, drinks and so on!

Many thanks to @aaronli for hosting this competition and giving me a chance to look back the city in our busy life.
