Das ist die umstrittene Ringturm-Verhüllung des Künstlers Gottfried Helnwein. Das Gebäude ist übrigens die Zentrale einer großen internationalen Versicherungsanstalt. Man könnte das Kunstwerk, das offiziell ein Statement gegen Terror & Krieg sein soll, auch so interpretieren, dass wir uns in einem gewaltsamen Wirtschaftskrieg befinden. Krieg um Erdöl, Old Economy vs. New Economy, Banken vs. Krypto und so.
This is the controversial wrapping of a famous office building in Vienna, done by the artist Gottfried Helnwein. Interestingly, the building is also the headquarters of a major international insurance company. You could also interpret the artwork, which is supposed to be a statement against terror and war, as a reminder that we are in an era of violent economic war. War for Oil, Old Economy vs. New Economy, Banks vs. Crypto and so on.

Stimmt, da hat Wien einmal Mut bewiesen, dachte am Anfang, als ich es in den Nachrichten gelesen habe, dass es ein Fake ist und nicht kommen wird.
Finde ich sehr eindrucksvoll - würde eher ersteres reindeuten und ich denke, so hat der Künstler es auch gemeint oder wollte er es bewusst so offen zu Interpretation lassen ?
Gute Frage, ich denke ein provokantes Kunstwerk gegen Kriege ist gleichzeitig eine Erinnerung, dass es Kriege gibt ;)
ich stell mir dieses Bild mal am Empire State Building in Ney York oder noch besser am neuen World Trade Center oder noch besser an der Wall street vor.
Das würde ein mittleres Erdbeben in den USA auslösen.
Ein brutales Bild mit extremen Symbolcharakter. Deinen Vergleichen würde ich ein noch viel einfacheren hinzufügen: Krieg versus Frieden!

Puh, das ist wirklich Geschmackssache. Ich kann nachvollziehen wenn das manchen nicht gefällt. Inwiefern das ein Statement gegen Krieg und Terror sein soll, erschließt sich mir nicht ganz. Ich fühle mich eher bedroht, als ob mich jemand beobachten würde und mich erschießen würde, wenn ich etwas falsches tue.
