Fun Filled Get Away

Finally I gathered my interest in finishing this article. Can find a good story on how to share with you our adventures last weekend. These photos have been sitting on my desktop waiting to be told. I am not a good storyteller and my vocabulary words are limited. Also, I am working on my grammar to top everything. But with all excitement please take some time to glance this article.

Ever since I join SteemIt community I develop an interest in photography. When I see Stemians taking breathtaking photos of sceneries, landscape, people and architectural wonders it makes me wonder why can't I snap same pictures.

Then I realized that photography is an art - it takes a keen eye on angles of your subject. Lightings is also important in balancing the visibility of the photo. In my opinion, feelings and mood settings also affect the quality of the picture.

I am not a professional photographer to begin with but a photographer on the process. Below are some of my captured pictures from a mobile phone. All photos here are clicked by a novice hand - hope you like it.

The trees caught my attention. How they are lined up in a straight path. It seems like you were heading to an endless row of trees and also looks like a tunnel at the end of the line.

There where some people fishing and would like to check if the catch is good. But then I notice the red chair and the glamorous sunset just before I reach the fishing area. There is a sudden rush of instinct to capture a photo. And here it is.

And there comes the moment of the sun setting down. A golden hour if I might describe. The sun is on his way down to rest over the horizon. Its rays cast a vibrant golden color into the sky.

Nature - This is the closest thing to freedom. Freedom from the hunks and buzz of the city life. Escape from clicks, uploads / downloading of files and the busy oceans of people rushing to their respective cubicles.

The little children - The kids also enjoy the time. Their break from books, schedules and class bells. This is one of the best things about the country we are in right now. The air is clean, peaceful environment and beautiful sceneries. Parents and kids alike can spend their time leaving everything behind.

Activies and the program - See how everybody is energized. Everyone for a while forgets about their life burdens and worries. I would like to give thanks to the people that organized the activity. Wish you were here.

Family is the basic unit of our community. It is the most precious group among all the social groups and most vulnerable. Some overlook the essential role of being a "Father" and a "Mother", because of being engaged at an early age. Some of us are hooked on building our own careers. Most are trapped on the curiosity on the opposite sex. And at this time and age that we are in, where our free time is spent on laptops, mobile phone, and iPad. Our mornings up to dawn are used in answering emails, making spreadsheets, creating reports and powerpoint illustration and neglecting our duties and responsibilities over our children. We tend to be busy from 9 to 5, be home around 6 and eat dinner about half an hour or so. Then next on the schedule is to check the social media. Never gave at least 5 minutes to check our little ones sketch on the walls, their newly found vocabulary nor gave appreciation on the card they made placed on the table next to your working area. These are the small simple things we missed noticing in our daily life.

But of course, salute to most of us that still value family time. All hands bow down on you and please continue to do the same. It was said and I quote, "Our children is our Future" so let us create a future where the family is more priority than our electronic gadgets and other things that caught our attention.
