Christmas comes but once in every year with Santa!
This made this season the most amazing time of the year that takes all of the years struggles away, sorrows and sadness away.
In many places Christmas comes with Winter and Snow, but the most important question is why is it so? Why all the happiness and joy in one season? Is it a pre-ordained mystery or just a man made legend?
Then there is Santa, the Fairy that accompany the this season of love, kids love him and so are Adults. We love to see him year after year even though Humans literally impersonate Santa which never counts as long as it brings happiness to our faces.
The kid in the image above is about to ask Santa to bring his Dad back home from serving in Afghanistan for Christmas, a really deep request for not the "Real Santa" who legendarily hails from the North-Pole. But as we all could see a little faith could move Mountain as the Father had been granted leave to come home for Christmas and he is seen hiding behind Santa!
The magic always works, Christmas seems to be the season where all our desires and aspirations are actualized, this might not be true for all but for some and kids mostly. Have you ever imagined or wonder the underlying myth to the Joy of Christmas?

Santa Claus is one of the best thing can happen to children during this season of love called Christmas season apart from the new clothing that be gotten for them especially in Nigeria where I come from.

I don't know the myth surrounding Christmas, just like you wrote, many things jampacked in a season... it's season of joy and a season for laughter.
Santa is the kids' delight. As a young person, there was something so magical about him but now as a grown up, it's not novelty anymore. But the season is to be enjoyed so let us do it.
