Beloved of God, I welcome you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ to a new week of praise.
New Garment series started two week ago with the Garment of Holiness and last week, we looked at the Garment of Power.

Today, we will be taking the very next garment that is essential for every Christian to have if he/she desire a new height in the new year.

3. Garment of Praise

The garment of praise is the act of respect and thanksgiving to God at all times, in season and out of season. It is having a heart of gratitude and adoration to God for His goodness and grace.

I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

Psalm 34:1

Features of Praise

The basic hallmark of praise is to;

1. Eulogise God
2. Acknowledge God
3. Exalt, Enthrone and Extol God.
4. Magnify God

When it comes to praise, personal status and titles are to be put aside. Garment of praise is momentarily forgetting about personal problems and worries for that time being.

Elements of Praise

Praise comprises of:

1. Loud shout (Joyful noise)
2. Musical instruments
3. Thanksgiving
4. Worship
5. Truth
6. Obedience
7. Sacrificial giving
8. Faithfulness

For great is the Lord and most worthy of our praise; He is to be feared above all gods.

Psalm 96:4

Every child of God needs to put on the garment of praise because God deserves our praises. When we praise God, we are acknowledging His sovereignty over our life and the world.

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

Revelation 4:11

In praise we are reminded of the goodness of God.

Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to His name, for that is pleasure.

Psalm 135:3

Brethren, I admonish us to put on our garment of praise and worship God in the beauty of His holy name.

When prayer fails; change to praises.

I pray for you today, May you not be found wanting among those that will continually sing and render praises unto the Lord in Jesus name... (AMEN!)

The 'Hope Beckons' series started last year as a way to motivate as many as possible through the Holy Scripture(Bible) with prayers to accompany each series. Hope Beckons series aim at giving hope to everyone out there. It is the needed capsule to inspire us to greatness by standing on the promises of God.

This year, I intend to make the 'Hope Beckons' series more inspiring and cheerful by introducing: 'Hope Beckons- Share&Care. Hope Beckons- Share&Care will only feature every mid-week(Wednesday) as an act of kindness to my followers on the Hope Beckons series.
