Where do you look for peace?
Hello my darlings!
Peace is something we are all looking to maintain in our everyday lives, right? Our everyday lives can get very tough but where do we look to for peace?
This is where eternal peace lies, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Our Lord Jesus can give you this peace.
And yet we spend our lives searching for momentary peace such as this.
But the beautiful and comforting truth is in Matthew 6:33
"Seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you".
All Jesus wants is a relationship with us, for us to know that He is the truth and the life and He will in turn give us everything we need and we can rest in His promise of peace. None of us get it right all the time but a reminder is good especially when life gets crazy. #peacebestill #peace #love #christianlife

Being a christain or knowing God doesn't exempt you from a harsh weather, heartbreak, bad government, etc. Being a christain doesn't make life all rosy and smooth. Jesus christ himself didnt have such a smooth life, did he? No! So what are you saying? Peace admist suffering? Or suffering but convincing yourself its all Gods will? I like what you blog about so i followed you.
Hello @paramimd :) I totally agree, I do not deny that even Christians go through rough times, Im going through exactly that at the moment. But pressing into the Lord and staying close to Him is what we need to do during these hard times because it is easy to crack under pressure and seek peace in the wrong places. When we remain intimate with Christ is these times of suffering, He gives us the Grace to carry us through as well as His peace that surpasses all understanding. Remember Philippians 4:6-7, peace that surpasses all understanding means you can find peace amidst the suffering.
