" Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. "
Staying at the top of your quest, or purpose is very challenging, just as climbing to the top. Winning is not necessarily a matter of starting first. It involves you enduring to the end and staying there.
In this life there are enormous competition all around us and it takes the strong to take the day. Whatever our live's endeavors are we should learn to hold fast and not give up. In business, finance, academics and ministry we must strive to be outstanding. Everyday new talents are born and giants falls weaklings rise, it is all about holding fast that which you have.
Chances are you will lose your grip when you are no longer focused and allow yourself to drift from course. It is imperative that constantly getting yourself updated to the changing demand of our environmental needs will help you evolve according. No condition in life is permanent and you must constantly meet the necessary conditions that will keep you at the top as well as take you there.
Be diligent, exercise discipline, get focused, improve your skills, display a high level of Physical and emotional intelligence avoid all forms of distractions these will go a long way in defining your success in life.
God gives us gifts to use and we need to use them! We must make sure we use them to glorify Him and not ourselves though :)
True word, yah we should and must use it for his glory. But most persons acts differently, some who have the gift tend to show off and this then lends to so many evils as seen all around us.
So true. We mustn't boast in ourselves but in Him :D
Unfortunately that is the other of the day people boast in themselves and think they are in control only to realize very late that it was ephemeral. Life and/or time on earth is but nothing compared with eternity.
Hence our boost is nothing , because it is like a fleeing shadow. No matter the amount of control we exercise it is but for a short while
Amen to that :)
