Do you often Dream?

I do. Some of my dreams happen when I "envision" about my future, sometimes it's just "flashes of pictures/impressions" of places and people, both of which happen when I'm awake. And then, there are also "narrative-natured stories" when I'm asleep. I believe that all of our Dreams are Special!

Did you know that GOD is the Giver of Dreams?

You might say, "I thought we came up with the dreams all by ourselves based on our sub-conscious wants and desires".

Well here are some proof from the Bible...

In Numbers 12:6 - God speaks to His People through Dreams given to His Prophets (His Called)...

"He said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in DREAMS." Source

In Genesis 20:3 - God rebukes a person though a Dream...

"But God came to Abimelek in a DREAM one night and said to him, “You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman." Source

In Matthew 1:20-21 - God gives an instruction to follow and reassurance not to be afraid in a Dream...

"But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Source

In Daniel 1:17 - God gives understanding to a few to interpret / understand Dreams....

"To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and DREAMS of all kinds." Source

In Jeremiah 23:32 - God is against prophesying of false Dreams...

"Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false DREAMS,” declares the LORD. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,” declares the LORD." Source

In Matthew 2:13 - God gives a warning through a Dream...

"When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." Source

In Joel 2:28 - God will Pour Out His Spirit of His People, and we will Prophesy... through our Vision and Dreams!

"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on ALL people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will DREAM Dreams, your young men will see visions." Source

There is so much GOD wants to SHOW us, REVEAL to us and SPEAK through us...

The question is, "Are we interested in listening/tuning in and being sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is saying, and how He is moving?" If you are interested, He is ever willing.

Action Point for today...

ASK, SEEK, KNOCK at the His Door tonight as you pray this...

• "God, will You use me as your Vessel"...
• "God, forgive me for the times I have gone my own way..."
• "God, I turn back to You today, and I now give You my whole life ahead of me..."
• "God, I want to Listen/Tune In to You, please Speak Lord and Reveal all that You desire of me..."
• "God, I thank You, for your Dreams and Visions that You will give me, I receive it all!..."

I pray that you WILL Dream Dreams and See Visions... and be a spokesperson for the Lord over your Land. In Jesus Name, Amen!
