Computer-Generated Chess Problem 04070

in #chess3 years ago

Published online for the first time, consider this KRRBN vs kqrnn chess construct composed autonomously by a computer using the Digital Synaptic Neural Substrate computational creativity approach which does not use any kind of deep learning. There is no known limit to the quantity or type of compositions that can be generated. Noteworthy here is that a chess position with over seven pieces would not likely have been derived or taken from an endgame tablebase because seven pieces is the present limit. A complete or full tablebase for eight pieces does not yet exist.

Solvability Estimate = Difficult

Even with the same version number, each copy of Chesthetica 'evolves' and may perform somewhat differently over time. White has a bishop and a rook for Black's queen and knight. Did you find this one interesting or have something else to say? Leave a comment below! Note that not all the chess problems are like this. They cover quite the spectrum of solving ability and there are thousands published already.
