Call-out for Steemians from Chennai
Steemit is gaining good popularity all over the world. Everyday a big load of new registration happens in Steemit. Many people are interested in exploring what Steem is and how Steemit works. From what I observed so far, not all who register here continue their journey. There are some people who start their journey here and try to graze only the top grass and leave the community thinking this is not their cup of tea. Steemians who are really persistent taste the fruit they receive from their continuous contributions. Today we see such persistent people as highly successful leaders in Steemit. They not just help themselves but also inspire minnows who join Steemit. I was inspired by so many such great leaders. I know that I still have a long way to go but, I really enjoy being here learning new things and making new friends every day from different parts of the world with different area of interest.

We all know that unity is strength. In Steemit earning made by the post are purely dependent on the readers inside the community. Unlike Google Adsense or other Affiliate programs, the revenue is not generated by the number of views or ads or leads. For a new comer, the Steemit platform is definitely complicated. You have to either explore it by yourself or ask someone. There comes the importance of being in a group here and making friends. You will be able to join many channels in Steemit Chat based on your area of interest and ask questions to the fellow steemians.
Recently we have been seeing lots of meetups happening all over the world. Steemians in a locality/city/state are grouping and meeting to discuss some common topics like Blockchain, Steemit and future of Cryptocurrencies etc. Apart from this there are also some interest based meetups happening where like minded steemians meet and discuss about their area of interest like science, technology, cryptocurrency etc. These meetups help a lot in sharing lots of information among each other.
This post is a Call-Out for steemians in Chennai. Following a meetup that happened recently in Banglore and Jaipur, we will be getting assistance from @firepower to organize a meeting in Chennai in 2018. As WhatsApp is very common in Chennai, we currently have a WhatsApp group created to unite and discuss various topics and understand each other. Soon based on the strength, the WhatsApp group can be changed to a Discord server to add more features to our discussions.
