Universal basic income - More than just a pipe dream - DAY 5 ( 30 days writing challenge)
This is my fifth post in the 30 days writing challenge in which I'm going to quickly cover something that will profoundly change the future of humanity ( I know it sounds waaay over top) - I'm talking about universal basic income or UBI. ( If you want to know more about the challenge you can read about it here )
For those who haven't heard about this concept before: it's basically receiving money just because you are a human being and thus entitled to having enough "money" ( fiat or crypto ) that you can support yourself.
Up until recently I thought that universal basic income is only a theoretical concept and that maybe our grandchildren would actually live to enjoy its benefits, only to find out things are further along than I first thought.
Yet again blockchain has come up with a innovating solution to a pretty difficult problem. The project is called Mannabase; with two "n" , not the mana base thing from Magic: The Gathering 😋.
The problem with basic income in the traditional sense, using fiat and banks and all that, is it's vulnerability of being used as a tool in a political sense. To bribe or threaten voters, to create even more discrepancies in society due to the fact certain states would adopt it and others would not, and of course every state would have it's own version with it's own value. The hurdles facing it's implementation would be huge.
Here is where blockchain comes in and makes sure that the distribution is equal, that there is a lot of transparency involved and that the reach is global and not tied to one nation or bank.
I encourage you to read more on this subject on their site: https://www.mannabase.com/
The coolest thing about this project is that all you have to do to sign up is to leave you email. This January another distribution will start again so you can get a taste yourself about how this all works.
If you would register using my referral link that would be awesome https://www.mannabase.com/?ref=d54fec43ce
P.s this is not bitconnect, so I don't believe any shady business is involved 😉
If you want to look up the coin on coinmarketcap it's called grantcoin, but it will be rebranded at some point. Cheers!

This was one of the first thoughts I had after understanding bitcoin and the potential of cryptocurrencies, that it is the perfect step to universal guaranteed income and after that the end of money itself :)
If such a world in which a free, open borderless, distributed blockchain that set the pace for a global economy is possible. I think that over time people will start to realize that all we need is an impartial set of rules that guarantees fairness and money will be forgotten.
Pace, fratele meu!
I hope that day comes sooner rather than later :)
La fel si tie! si multumesc de vizita :)
