I'm still trying to wrap my head around the unique use cases and possibilities of chainBB, but for sure, it's promising!
I agree it can be hard to see the use cases for all of the apps created. Here's my point of view.
Firstly, it's "unique" so to speak in the same way as Busy.org or Steemit.com. It's a new alternative that people can choose in the Steem market place. But it's also good, because it's really well designed. Better in many ways than Steemit, I dare say.
Personally I like it because it's a "forum" type platform, which is something I've grown used to as I've not been a Facebook/Twitter user for many years. Under ordinary circumstances (previous to Steemit.com and Busy.org) the forums were always the main place where I searched for information and occasionally left a comment.
I'm wondering if Bitcointalk forum users couldn't migrate to something like this in the future? So far, it might as well be a Steem based app, because I don't see anything better out there.
It would be amazing to see the bitcointalk forum via chainBB and the STEEM blockchain. Why not! They would each provide value to the other in a beautiful symbiosis.
This is a really exciting evolution that's taking place here!
