I'm still trying to wrap my head around the unique use cases and possibilities of chainBB, but for sure, it's promising!

I agree it can be hard to see the use cases for all of the apps created. Here's my point of view.
Firstly, it's "unique" so to speak in the same way as Busy.org or Steemit.com. It's a new alternative that people can choose in the Steem market place. But it's also good, because it's really well designed. Better in many ways than Steemit, I dare say.
Personally I like it because it's a "forum" type platform, which is something I've grown used to as I've not been a Facebook/Twitter user for many years. Under ordinary circumstances (previous to Steemit.com and Busy.org) the forums were always the main place where I searched for information and occasionally left a comment.
I'm wondering if Bitcointalk forum users couldn't migrate to something like this in the future? So far, it might as well be a Steem based app, because I don't see anything better out there.
It would be amazing to see the bitcointalk forum via chainBB and the STEEM blockchain. Why not! They would each provide value to the other in a beautiful symbiosis.
This is a really exciting evolution that's taking place here!

The only way you'd earn more on chainBB is if you get more votes because it's providing better visibility for your content.
The system itself takes a portion of the rewards from the posts, so there's also the chance you'd earn a bit less :)

I think so, though I'm not sure how you'd do it on busy (I haven't used it in a long while).
On steemit you can just click the edit button on the bottom of your post, chainBB has yet to enable editing :)
Fixed it! The post lost a little bit of its clickbaitiness, but at least I won't be tricking anyone.
I hope you get lots of supporters and beta testers, because you've earned it!
(also not sure why the edit button didn't show up immediately on Steemit, but that might be my current setup once again... I've had glitches before it seems)

This looks like a really cool addendum to Steem, honestly. I've always had a soft spot for traditional forums, so for me this just feels natural.
