Interesting. But I think that there is a push from people who want cash and not have every one of their purchases be traceable - not because they are doing anything wrong. Just for privacy.
Good point. I'm above avarage concered with privacy, so I'm not entirely thrilled about this, but hopefully the future will bring mass adoption of privacy centric cryptocurrencies that people may choose to use.
there is still the problem that we need technology to administer and exchange it. Right now, for example, the power grid is out in Puerto Rico and only cash gets people anything. So, there is that.....
