AN EMPTY BOTTLE TO REMEMBER DEAD TIMES.... My entry to the Cemetery Photos challenge
I must confess that I don't understand much of what is happening in this pair of photos I took in the Municipal Cemetery of my hometown, Carrizal, located in the state of Miranda, in Venezuela... I wonder what a bottle of Buchananan's whisky is doing in the niche of a group of vertical tombs. I suppose it is a tribute to someone who in life had the joy of drinking this beverage very often, which, at present, cannot be bought in Venezuela because it is very expensive..... It is certainly a reminder of the times already dead in which our country was among the first buyers of Scottish broth.
Cemeteries are good places to spend some time in meditation and calm, and if you can do this by sipping a good whisky, well, much better... Of course, the time will come when we will have to stay for a long, long time, so try to imitate the ancient Egyptians and fill your tomb with many bottles full of good drink for you to have a great time in the future life....
Thanks again to @melinda010100 for another cool challenge...
