Hello!!
It is time for @oliviackl's Friday Emoji Contest #16 and it is a brand ๐๐๐๐ new year! My first โถ new year on Steemit! ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ป๐พ
How did ๐๐ป you usher in the ๐๐ new year ๐๐ โ When I was younger ๐ง๐ป, a ๐๐ new year celebration ๐๐ usually means ๐๐ป๐บ๐ป street ๐ฃ parties ๐๐, ๐watching ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ค๐จ๐ปโ๐ค concerts ๐, being in the moment, in the ๐๐ป๐บ๐ป hustle and bustle ๐๐ค๐, in the crowd ๐ฏ๐ฏโโ๏ธ and when the clock strikes twelve ๐, scream ๐ at the top of my lungs, wishing ๐ฃ everyone around me a happy ๐๐ new year ๐๐ ๐๐๐ and watching the fireworks ๐๐!
As years ๐๐ pass โ and as I grew older ๐ฉ๐ป, hopefully wiser ๐ฆ, I prefer ๐๐ to stay home ๐ก, at the comfort of my own ๐๐ป๐๐ป living space ๐ก with my family ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ, , ๐watch ๐บ a nice, feel good movie ๐ฝ, without ๐ซโ๐ ๐ปโ the crowd and when the clock strikes twelve ๐, go to the balcony and watch the fireworks ๐๐ until it ends, wish ๐ฃ everyone around a happy ๐๐ new year ๐๐ and then go to bed ๐๐ป ๐ค๐ด.
It is quite amazing how as we grow ๐ถ๐ป๐ง๐ป older ๐ฉ๐ป๐ง๐ป๐ต๐ป , our ๐๏ธโ๐จ๏ธ๐๐ต๐ป perspective ๐ in life changes. I enjoy staying home ๐ก , with some me time โณ and I cherish every moment โ I have with my loved ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ, ones. โ Over the years ๐๐ , I have lost a number of close family members and friends ๐น, and after each loss, I appreciate ๐ค๐ every second โฐ I have with those who are still around because we will ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ never know what happens tomorrow ๐ .
This year, I will work on eating and living healthier - more veges ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ฅฆ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฅ๐, more ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅ fruits ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and set aside ๐๐ธ exercise ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ time โณ, even if it is just โฟ minutes a โ day doing some stretching ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ.
I will continue to do things that makes me happy such as arts ๐จ๐๐๐โ and crafts โ, needlework, swim ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ , play ๐ต๐ถ music ๐ผ๐ธ, watch happy ๐บ movies ๐ฌ and cleaning because when I ๐ฉ๐ป am happy ๐, I can make ๐คก๐คน๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คธ๐ปโโ๏ธ others happy ๐. I will work on living each day ๐ ๐๐ and always remember to be thankful ๐๐ป for all that I have ๐ and for all those around me ๐ค.
