A proposal to host a contest with prize 🏆💰 sponsorship from @freedomshift

Hello, hello there!

A good day to you, wherever you may be on this beautiful earth!🌎🌍🌏

When I first started on Steemit, one of the first few questions I have were:

• What can I post about?
• What should I post about?
• Who will read my post?

After a few months here, I realised that one of the best things about Steemit is the number of contests that are available, hosted and sponsored by amazing, kind and generous Steemians. Personally, I think joining contests is one of the best ways to grow on this platform. It gives us a reason to post, we get to meet amazing people, we learn new things and we make new friends along the way too 🤗🤜🤛👋.

So, this is my post in answering @freedomshift's call to host a contest on a Saturday with full sponsorship. Thank you @freedomshift for the opportunity! 😁🤩💃🕺. Here goes...

Contest Suggestion:

Contest Title

• The idea is to make the contest's theme general and generic, so that everyone can enter.
• Idea 1: How is/was your Saturday? or SAT-UR-DAY! Set-Your-Day to do the things that YOU like!
  • Share your activities on that particular Saturday.
  • It can be just relaxing at home, gardening, fetching kids to extra curricular classes, painting, hiking, et cetera.
• Idea 2: My Saturday favourites
  • Theme based, example Saturday #1 will be to share your favourite dessert, Saturday #2 may be to share your favourite song, Saturday #3 can be to share your favourite activity on a Saturday, and et cetera.
  • The week's theme will be determined by yours truly 😁.
  • I have also created a draft banner for Idea 2:

Duration of Contest

• The contest will run from Saturday to Saturday of the week.
• It will close at 12:00PM UTC.
• The contest will trial run for 1 week first and see how it goes.
• But it very much depends on the sponsor 😁.

What makes a qualified entry

• Contestant's post can be in the form of photos, artwork or writing in accordance to #ccc rules, listed below.
• Submit the link to the post with a comment in the Contest Announcement post (if it is a valid entry, I will assign an entry number; otherwise, I will reply with any corrections needed)

The Reward

• 1 SBI for the winning #ccc qualified post. If you are wondering what is SBI:

Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
Many of our members use the #steembasicincome tag for their contests, so check there for contests that we might not have re-steemed!

• Possibly 1 week 50 SP Delegation if sponsor agrees.
• Shared SBD from the Contest Announcement's post payout for every qualified entry including the winner (e.g. if the contest post earns 0.20SBD and if there are 5 entries, the earnings will be divided equally with 5 qualified entries, each contestant will get 0.04 SBD. This is to thank each contestant for the effort in entering the contest).
• Upvotes from the sponsor himself and me 🙃

Selecting the Winner

• This is still under discussion, it will either be randomly chosen using a random number generator or the host and/or sponsor chooses the winner.
