CATURDAY’s DAY OFF 😿

Hello fellow Steemians and cat lovers!

I’m very sorry to say that my #caturday2018 project of writing about fictional cats that I’ve enjoyed has hit a snag on its second week. I’m in the process of sitting a rather important and time-consuming national exam, which I’ve been studying for for months. The exam is next week and will run for three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) for 8-10 hours each day. Right now, though, I’m in Rome already for early registration.
My studying naturally intensified this last week and that left no time for writing about cats, nor do I know whether I’ll be able to get next week’s post done, since I’ll be leaving it until next Saturday.

Since I began my #caturday posts I’ve never missed a week, though. And I don’t want to start now.
So, just for today, we’ll have some more photos of my beloved, which are currently being cat-sat by a friend, since my boyfriend is also out of town.

Yesterday, when I left, I had opened a big can of cat food, which I divided into two bowls (first and third from the right). Then I filled the second bowl with one kind of dry food, the last with another and the fourth with a mix of the previous two.

I think it’s pretty obvious which dry food they both prefer, although it’s weird how they ate only half of the canned food (they usually finish non-dry food rather fast). The main thing this photo teaches us, though, is that they are very spoiled: no one showed up for a whole day to give them more food, and yet they waited for my friend to go over and open some more stuff before diving right into it, rather than eat stuff that wasn’t their favorite.

Oh well. If they’re spoiled, it just means we’re doing something right!

Salve compagni di Steem ed amanti dei gatti!

Mi spiace dover ammettere che il mio progetto #caturday2018 dedicato ai gatti immaginari che mi sono piaciuti nel tempo ha incontrato un contrattempo già alla sua seconda settimana. Sono in procinto di partecipare ad un concorsone di un certo rilievo, per il quale studio da mesi. Le prove sono la settimana prossima e dureranno tre giorni (martedì, mercoledì e venerdì), per circa 8-10 ore al giorno. Al momento sono in ogni caso già a Roma per le operazioni preliminari.
Ovviamente, lo studio si è intensificato nella scorsa settimana e perciò non ho avuto, mio malgrado, tempo da dedicare allo scrivere di gatti. Né so se riuscirò a scrivere almeno il post della prossima settimana, visto che dovrò per forza di cose rimandarlo direttamente a sabato prossimo.

Da quando ho iniziato a scrivere i post del #caturday, però, non ho mancato una settimana e non voglio iniziare ora.
Quindi, solo per oggi, dovremo accontentarci di qualche altra foto dei miei adorati, che al momento vengono accuditi da un’amica, visto che anche mio moroso è fuori città.

L’ultima foto trovo sia particolarmente divertente.

Ieri, prima di andarmene, avevo aperto una lattina grande di cibo umido, che ho diviso in due ciotole (la prima e la terza da destra). Poi ho riempito la secondo ciotola con un tipo di crocchini, l’ultima con un altro e la quarta con un mix dei due.

Mi sembra abbastanza ovvio quale cibo i due furfanti preferiscano, anche se trovo strano che dell’umido abbiamo mangiato solo metà (in genere lo finiscono appena aperto). La cosa principale che si apprende da questa foto, comunque, è che sono molto viziati: non si è presentato nessuno a nutrirli per un giorno intero e ciononostante hanno aspettato che arrivasse la mia amica ed aprisse un’altra bustina di umido, sulla quale si sono avventati, piuttosto che mangiare cose non di loro completo gradimento.

Oh beh. Se sono viziati, significa che stiamo facendo qualcosa di giusto!
