Lenting period and what it takes to fervently engage in it

As we have entered lenting period,i urge you the reader to always bear in mind that the suffering and death of our lord Jesus Christ is for you,that he died for you even when you are still sinner,so bearing that in mind try as much as you can to desist and resist offending him with your sin,meditate on his passion,give alms,pray for the conversion of sinners in the whole world,pray forever union with him,pray for the holy souls in purgatory,and above all pray for the grace to love him and love our fellow. May God the father of our lord Jesus Christ bless you as you strive to do his will,Amen. Have a wanderful lenting period.
