Now for some good Old Aussie Muscle, 71 and 72 Valiant RT Chargers.

I took these photos at the Gosford Classic Car Museum in Sydney, Australia. The museum has over 450 cars with a combined value of over $70 million under one roof.

This first car is the RT Charger E49 it had a Hemi 265 cu in (4.3 L) HP base engine with triple sidedraught Weber carburettors and produced 302 bhp or (225 kW), which also had the improved 4spd manual.

That aussie only hemi is a thing of mystery in north america. Thanks for showing these off man.

Thanks for the reply mate, here's a bit more info on the 265 Hemi, it was an impressive engine in it's day, cheers.
The Charger R/T E49 engine produced remarkable torque on a seven bearing configuration which enabled considerable power development previously unobtained from 6-cylinder engines and not surpassed until the Porsche Turbo 911 (300) release of 1975

Mmmm car heaven

They were a wicked looking machine, that's for sure cheers.

Oh how I wanted a bright orange Charger.
