History of the De Tomaso Pantera

The Pantera is a sports car produced by De Tomaso, Italian car company between 1971 and 1992. De Tomaso was founded by Alejandro de Tomaso in Modena in 1959 producing at the beginning racing cars and was acquired by Ford in 1971.

This model combines the power of Ford with the Italian design for the coachwork, about 175 Pantera GT5 was built.

Technical Specification

The Pantera GT5 is equipped with a Group 3 racing 351cid Ford V-8 engine delivering more than 400 hp, performance very close to its Group 3 race car sibling.
