Tomorrow (the 7th April), RM Sotheby's will sell this beautiful 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider Conversion for about $800,000, a desirable model with its European-specification as Plexi headlights and left-hand-drive.
History of the Ferrari 365 GTB/4
The Ferrari 365 GTB/4, aka Ferrari Daytona, was presented at the Paris Auto Salon in 1968 and produced between 1968 and 1973. This model was named after the Ferrari's victory at the Daytona 24 Hours in the US in 1967 with the Ferrari 330 P4 prototype driven by Lorenzo Bandini and Chris Amon.
Technical Specification
The 365 GTB/4 has a 4,390cc Colombo V12 engine with 5-speed manual transmission for a top speed of 281 kmh and from 0 to 100kmh in 5.72s.
It was originally finished in Bianco Polo over Nero.
