History of the Ferrari 275 GTB

In 1963, Ferrari wanted to replace the 250 GT series by a new model. The 275 GTB was presented at the 1964 Paris Motor Show with the 275 GTS (designed by Pininfarina more luxuous and confortable). The 275 GTB, Gran Turismo Berlinetta, is more a sport car, designed by Scaglietti, the Italian automobile coachbuilding with the test's work of British racer Mike Parkes.

For the engine, we retrieve the Colombo Engine, designed by Gioacchino Colombo and used by Ferrari between 1947 and 1988, the last version, 3286 cc variant of the V12 for up to 300 hp with its triple-carburettor.
