History of the Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback

The Boss 429 or Boss 9 is the high performance Mustang variant produced by Ford between 1969 and 1970, in 1359 examples. This model was built by Ford to homologate the hemi-head big-block for NASCAR racing.

Technical Specification

This model has its original 820-S Nascar Boss 429 engine installed in the earliest Boss 429 produced 375 hp with a 4-speed transmission.
