History of the Ferrari 250 GT and GTE
Enzo Ferrari wanted a new coachwork and asked to Pininfarina instead of Vignale, the most popular carrozzeria among Ferrari's customers. In March 1956, the Ferrari 250 GT Coupé was presented during the Geneva Salon. The production began in 1958 and 353 examples were produced until 1960.
The Ferrari 250 GTE was presented at the 1960 Paris Auto Show with a distinctive Pininfarina coachwork and two rear seats, the first Ferrari with 2+2 configuration. It was a huge success despite its high price $US 13,000. Only 299 Series I 250 GTEs have been built.

Specification
The Ferrari 250 GTE has 2,953 CC SOHC Tipo 128F V-12 engine with three Weber carburetors producing 240 hp at 7,000 rpm. You have 4-Speed manual gearbox with overdrive to control the engine and 4-wheel Dunlog disc brakes to tame it.
In 2016, the car was restoreed from engine to cosmetic work for more than $US 30,000. Beautiful Pininfarina coachwork with incredible ample interior, classic Ferrari...
