When Wayne was about a year Old Chris and I went to The Coast , Durban - Margate Area in the Coombs MK2.
Our first trip away with a Baby so we probably took too many items with?, I kept the Jag just under 3500 rpm in Overdrive top which corresponded to 85MPH and about 28 MPG, anything over 3500rpm it would hit the Racing Camshafts Hard , run like the Devil , but drop to 8mpg in return?
My Mom's Sister Pat and her Husband Ron stayed on The Bluff in Durban and were very Happy to see our Beautiful Boy ( no exaggeration)
Ron an Ex Hot Rodder was very excited to be taken around his area at a ridiculous Speed in My Black Jaguar.
We had a Wonderful Holiday , and on the Way Back Chris and Wayne were asleep ( I enjoy driving at night ) and I was flying along at 130MPH , slowing down to 100mph for bends , that car went around bends as though it was on rails!
Pretty Much , the Ultimate MK 2 with a Jaguar Engine!
I had given one of my MK1 Bodies to my Dad , fitted MK2 Suspension all around, wider rear track and Disc Brakes all around
He fitted a Chrysler V8 engine in it with an Auto Box, pulled really well! Made the mistake of letting My Mother Drive it to the Shops! ( will save that for another Story)
Here is a V8 engined Mk2 !
While this was taking place I was busy with another project at My Dad's house as well! More on that later.
Please enjoy my continuing Autobiography!

@awgbibb very beautiful and stunning Jaguar car. it is really a luxury car.
want to ask that is it available in sports car?
The XK 150 was the Sports Model at that time ( predecessor to the E-Type)
You have a lot of things to share man and in this case the cars you owned are a perfect representation of your style, about cars i love the strong body of MK2 i want to hear its engine now. Regards sir
Old cars have own "soul". They look differently, it's up to you to choose.
Hi @awgbibb, I liked this your autobiographic post. I think it's a great idea to do such post where you turn your feelings about memories into words and share with the world. I also liked your style of writing and formatting in particular. All the videos, textual content, photos and headlines seem at their right places. You're an artist .
Can't wait to see the next post specially the video of your mother driving it to the shops. :D I guess, it would be funny video.
Keep sharing, caring, entertaining and inspiring the world. The world is always in need of a good laugh for such much negativity in it. Stay awesome. You got my support.
Great Post. Steem On!
Thank You, you wrote a whole post as a comment! Appreciate your kind thoughts!
Hi @awgbibb, I've a special connection with the words. I hope, it was not boring. :)
