Evolution of Indian copy of the Jeep Wrangler
DC Design touched and Mahindra Thor
Indian company DC Design presented at the Motor Show in Delhi own modification of the popular local market Mahindra Thar - model, which in turn is an interpretation of Jeep Wrangler.
The design of DC Design named Hammer and its creators have decided to increase the angles in the layout of the SUV, and add angular hardtop, new bumpers and wider front fenders. Changes suffered and interior - door panels are new, having already appeared and leather upholstery, LED lighting, redesigned center console and two individual seats in the back row.
In other words, Hammer is the luxury version of Thar and is aimed at customers who want the high road, but do not want to be deprived of the comforts onboard.
Mahindra Thar is powered by a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated diesel with a modest 105 horsepower and 247 Nm of torque. The transmission is a 5-speed manual and the rear axle is equipped with a limited slip differential.
In Delhi DC Design introduced another car - sports TCA, powered by 3.8-liter V8 with an output of 320 horsepower and a maximum speed of 200 km / h.
