Some Frosty buds I grew from bag-seeds last Winter
A test to See if bag seeds Suck or Not and what I learned
I have been doing a lot of research on whether or not it is the grower that make the buds good or the genes and I was also trying to find out if it is a must to grow you stash from imported seeds/breeder seeds or just take the best one you can find in the best bag of stash you come across.
So I started growing these plants from some bag-seeds and look at what I got :D
The cold weather brought out the wonderful overtones of purple.
Upon Harvest the buds where quite dense and plump.
Buds where very glittery after drying, I was still a beginner at trimming tho...
Should have maybe waited a bit longer before harvest, looking at this photo now... I realise it could have been better with more amber trichomes.
And I should have given the plants more space to grow. but I definitly learned that good genes are esential but the grower controls the power of the expression of the genes.
All and all it was a good smoke but more importantly I learned from my mistakes :D

It's new every Saturday night. Did you make the cut?
Awesome experiment!
Do you mean seeds you found in bud? Or did you purchase them from somewhere?
Once they cure, do a taste test and let us know how she turned out!

Nice Job :)
Bag seed comes from bags of cannabis. There are all kinds of qualities of cannabis in baggies. ;) Seeds are a great way to get exactly what you're looking for, and sometimes life is great with a few surprises. :)
I shoot for about 5-15% amber and have posted a write up on how to easily check. :) May be a few other posts you'll be interested in as well.
Go Be Awesome! :D

Nice purple you have there. Just curious if you grew in an environment where the temperature dropped below 50 degrees.
I've read and seen outdoor flower that resulted in some purple coloring due to exposure to cooler temperatures.
Obviously there is also the genetic component for why some plants have the purple as well.
Nice post, great photos!
