It’s A Boy!!! (STEEM OG UPDATE #8)
Hi steemians! So just a little quick update for the first crypto cannabis, Steem Og.
Steem Og Plant A is a boy!!!
So now it’s a bit of relief, since I can move this guy outside and make some room in my closet.
I will keep this one to use for future breeding projects. So hopefully the 2nd generation of Steem Og will be created!!! I still have 3 other Steem in my wallet, I mean closet. One female, and the other two I’m 90% sure there female as well. I will not make the call until I’m a 100% sure.

Is that what a lot of people do with the males? I've often worked with feminized seeds, or clones of females, so have almost never had to worry about it.
Yeah most people see males as a disaster, I see potential. I always say I won’t breed again, but when life gives you lemons....
Other than keeping them far away from your females, why would they be a disaster? People must be really uneducated about how life works!
So when males are put outside, does their pollen pose a problem for nearby females that aren't kept in an airtight place? Do people grow outdoors in your region?
It hasn’t yet. As soon as they have some nice pollen sacks, I’ll cut off a few tops and put them in cup of water. Then I’ll go ahead and get rid of plant. I just set the cup with the tops on my window seal. I never open that window, cause it will cause the pollen to travel.

Looks good but Would look much better in A Canadian pot.😉 lol. I understand we are all very patriotic. You have some leaf curl but i cant tell if you got a slight whorled phyllotaxy mutation. Which would be cool! or just a minor deficiency which is causeing a bit of curling and clawing.
Probably got a little cal/mag defiency. I’ll up the dosage a notch.
Do Canadians use Maple Syrup instead of Molasses for Nitrogen? lol :)
Ha! 🤣 really I do! lol. but not so much for nitrogen. Canadian maple syrup is Definately a great replacement for Sugardaddy or Molasse.
I use Honey cause it helps mushrooms grow.
I enjoy good shrooms occasionally. Like a once or twice a year. I always wanted to try growing them. But I havent made the effort yet. A friend of mine grows them outside. One of these days ill try for myself.
I also recommend picking over growing indoors.
