Esta es una planta de crecimiento lento y hay que tener paciencia para cultivarla, pero con unos cuidados adecuados puede llegar a florecer dos veces durante el verano. Son flores muy hermosas de color rosa, pero también pueden ser de color rojo o blanco. se recomienda colocarla a pleno sol, ya que gracias a el crecerá correctamente y en invierno hay que evitar colocarla en zonas sombrías, no tolera muy bien el riego y hay que regarla con moderación sobre todo durante su crecimiento, se recomienda regarla cada 10 o 15 días será más que suficiente. En invierno habrá que reducir los riegos ya que al no tener mucha luz no necesitará mucho agua.
